WESTCHESTER BIG SHOTS MEMBER BIOS

Westchester Big Shots got our start in 1998 when a few of our motorcycle enthusiast friends got together riding our bikes. We all rode together whenever we could anyway so it only made sense that we should start our own club. Some of our friends knew some of the members from the founding chapter Harlem Big Shots, namely Buke & Rob. Harlem Big Shots approached Sam Boogie and Yimes and asked them if they were interested in starting a chapter in Westchester County, NY. So, following the Harlem Big Shots' request and with their blessing, Sam and Yimes started the Westchester Big Shots. At first it was going well with 10 members. Internal problems and dedication issues forced the club to disband.

After a few years, questions arose about why the Westchester Big Shots disbanded and if there was any chance of it starting up again. In 2003, Westchester Big Shots' original member C. Lowe started asking around if any of the old members would be willing to start the club up again. Since most of us still rode together and knew people who were interested in riding with us, it was decided that we should start up again only this time with a more solid organization and with a more dedicated mind set. We understood about the mistakes we made in the past and we were sure that we would not repeat them -although it is in our best interest to remember them. We began to put it together with a core group, mainly the executive board members of our chapter. We started scheduling meetings, collecting dues and organizing events that we would host. We also go to other organized events hosted or participated in by the founding chapter in Harlem such as the Big Shots Trophy Party, The Big Shots Bike Blessing and The September 11th Memorial Ride.

In the past two seasons, Westchester participated in: The Bronx Chapter’s Barbecue, Myrtle Beach, Trophy Parties, Bike Blessings, Appreciation Parties, Charity Events, and a number of other motorcycle events. The Big Shots family has added new chapters: Big Shots Brooklyn, Big Shots Rockland, Big Shots Piedmont, NC and soon to come Big Shots Atlanta. The New Jersey Chapter is back on board. We all are having a blast as a group. We have members from all walks of life and a myriad of livelihoods and age groups, male and female. As a chapter in one of the fastest growing motorcycle clubs in New York, we look forward to new people joining every month. The Big Shots are doing Big Things because we believe in the Big Shots Family! The Westchester Big Shots Chapter started small and is growing as we go along. Westchester Big Shots currently has 27 members and we are still growing!
